Schuller method

Schuller method, a technique for positioning a patient’s head in a true lateral position to produce a radiographic image of the mastoid and petrous portions of the temporal bone as well as the temporomandibular joint of the side closest to the image receptor. Both temporomandibular joints are imaged with the mouth open and closed.
