Rieder’s cell leukemia /rē″dərz/ [Hermann Rieder, German pathologist, 1858–1932] , a malignant neoplasm of blood-forming tissues characterized by the presence in blood of large numbers of atypical myeloblasts with immature cytoplasm and relatively mature lobulated, indented nuclei.
