ascorburia /as′kôrbyo͝or″ē·ə/ [Gk, a, not; AS, scurf, scurvy; Gk, ouron, urine] , the presence of ascorbic acid in the urine in amounts greater than normal. It usually reflects only an excess intake, generally caused by the use of vitamin C supplements.
