INDICATIONS: This herb is used for benign prostate hypertrophy, for which there is some evidence of efficacy, and as an antiinflammatory medication, for which there are insufficient reliable data regarding efficacy. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Pygeum is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, in children, or in those with known hypersensitivity to this plant.
