postnecrotic cirrhosis

postnecrotic cirrhosis /-nekrot′ik/ [L, post + Gk, nekros, dead; kirrhos, yellowish, osis, condition] , a nodular form of cirrhosis that may follow hepatitis or other inflammation of the liver. Also called posthepatic cirrhosis. See also cirrhosis.
