polygraph

polygraph /pol′ē·graf/ [Gk, polys + graphein, to write] , an apparatus for simultaneously recording several mechanical or electrical impulses, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration, and variations in electrical resistance of the skin. Also called lie detector.
