panoramic radiograph /pan′ôram″ik/ [Gk, pan + horama, view; L, radiare, to emit rays; Gk, graphein, to record] , an x-ray image of a curved body surface, such as the upper and lower jaws, on a single film. Also called pantomograph, panoramic radiography.
