Owren’s disease

Owren’s disease [Paul A. Owren, Norwegian hematologist, b. 1905] , a rare autosomal-recessive congenital bleeding disorder caused by a deficiency of coagulation factor V. It is characterized by easy bruising at an early age and other hemophilia-like symptoms. Also called parahemophilia.
