otocephaly /ō′tōsef″əlē/ [Gk, ous + kephale, head] , a congenital malformation characterized by the absence of the lower jaw, defective formation of the mouth, and union or close approximation of the ears on the front of the neck. See also agnathocephaly. −otocephalic, otocephalous, adj.
