orthodromic conduction

orthodromic conduction /ôr′thədrom″ik/ [Gk, orthos + dromos, course; L, conducere, to connect] , the conduction of a neural impulse in the normal direction, from a synaptic junction or a receptor forward along an axon to its termination with depolarization. Compare antidromic conduction.
