obstructive biliary cirrhosis

obstructive biliary cirrhosis [L, obstruere, to build against, bilis, bile; Gk, kirrhos, yellow-orange, osis, condition] , a form of secondary cirrhosis in which a stricture develops in the bile ducts. The condition may develop after cholecystectomy, gallstones, or a tumor.
