nasotracheal tube

nasotracheal tube /-trā″kē·əl/ [L, nasus + Gk, tracheia, rough artery; L, tubus] , a catheter inserted through the nasal cavity into the trachea. It is commonly attached to a mechanical ventilator or a resuscitator bag to administer oxygen.
