myeloblastic leukemia

myeloblastic leukemia /-blas″tik/ , a malignant neoplasm of blood-forming tissues, characterized by many myeloblasts in the circulating blood and tissues. The disease may be a terminal event in the course of chronic granulocytic leukemia, sometimes referred to as “blast crisis.”
