mean cell hemoglobin (MCH)

mean cell hemoglobin (MCH), an estimate of the mass of hemoglobin in an average erythrocyte, computed as the ratio of the hemoglobin concentration and the red blood cell count. The MCH reference interval is 28 to 32 picograms. See also hypochromic anemia, iron-deficiency anemia.
