Lindbergh pump

Lindbergh pump [Charles A. Lindbergh, American technician, 1902–1974; ME, pumpe] , a pump used to preserve an organ of the body by perfusing its tissues with oxygen and other essential nutrients, usually during the transport of an organ from a donor to a recipient. Also called Carrel-Lindbergh pump.
