Joubert’s syndrome

Joubert’s syndrome /zho̅o̅·bārz′/ [Marie Joubert, 20th-century Canadian neurologist] , an autosomal-recessive syndrome consisting of partial or complete agenesis of the cerebellar vermis, with hypotonia, episodic hyperpnea, developmental delay, and abnormal eye movements. Most patients die in infancy.
