hypochloremia

hypochloremia /-klôrē″mē·ə/ [Gk, hypo + chloros, green, haima, blood] , a decrease in the chloride level in the blood serum below 95 mEq/L. The condition may result from prolonged gastric suctioning. Also spelled hypochloraemia.
