glucosuria /glo̅o̅′kōso͝or″ē·ə/ [Gk, glykys + ouron, urine] , abnormal presence of glucose in the urine resulting from the ingestion of large amounts of carbohydrate or from a metabolic disease, such as diabetes mellitus. See also glycosuria. −glucosuric, adj.
