fucosidosis

fucosidosis /fyo̅o̅′kōsidō″sis/ , a hereditary lysosomal storage disorder that results from the absence of the enzyme required to metabolize fucoside moieties. It causes cognitive impairment, neurological deterioration, coarse facial features, thickened skin, and hepatosplenomegaly.
