Fowler’s position

Fowler’s position /fou″lərz/ [George R. Fowler, American surgeon, 1848–1906] , the posture assumed by the patient when the head of the bed is raised 90 degrees and his or her knees are elevated slightly. See also high-Fowler’s position.
