Filovirus

Filovirus, a genus of single-stranded negative-sense ribonucleic acid viruses in the Filoviridae family that targets primates and causes hemorrhagic fevers. It is one of the most destructive viruses known to man. The genus includes the Ebola and Marburg viruses.
