drawsheet

drawsheet, a sheet that is smaller than a bottom or top sheet of a bed and that is usually placed over the middle of the bottom sheet to keep the mattress and bottom linens dry. The drawsheet can also be used to turn or move a patient in bed. Also called turning sheet. See also log roll.
