crus cerebri

crus cerebri /ser″əbrī, -brē/ [L, crus + cerebrum, brain] , either of the two cerebral peduncles, composed of the descending fiber tracts passing from the cerebral cortex to form the longitudinal fascicles of the pons. Also called basis pedunculi cerebri.
